These are some serious times,
All I can see around us is violence and crime.
It’s time for us to learn and understand one another
To Socialise and realise
And revise the fails from our previous mistakes,
and acknowledge them now, for all our sakes.
Weapons are used to demand respect,
But those that use them can’t command respect
Initiation of drama and infliction of crime
is the constant sad story on the news primetime.
Instead let’s spread love to the attackers with grace
Look hatred in the eye, look it right in the face
Kill evil with love, before love turns to dust

A minute’s silence for the tragic can last for ever.
Shedding tears for lost souls can bring us together.
Cities of people are leaving cities of rubble
Leaving behind what they trusted, that has now turned to trouble
Leaving their legacy, their culture, and tradition
For the sake of an exile that we prefer to call freedom
When there’s isn’t freedom at all

See to be free is to feel safe in one’s skin
To be free is to be respected
To love and be loved
For only love can conquer hate
So let’s revise the fails from our previous mistakes,
and acknowledge them now, for all our sakes
