Addicks Aim To Stretch Their Unbeaten Run.

Charlton’s U23s returns to the Greenwich Borough’s DGS Marine Stadium on Monday afternoon when they host Watford in Professional Development League 2 South (1pm). Kwame Kufuour reports.

Jason Euell’s team, currently topping PDL2 South table, go into the game on the back of a nine-match unbeaten run, with a 4-2 emphatic win against Ipswich Town in their last outing.

Once again Josh Umerah continued his rich form in front of goal and bagged a double while Mikhail Kennedy and Reeco Hackett-Fairchild also scored in a game where The Addicks had to come from behind to get the win.

The Addicks, who have played 12 games in the PDL2 South, sit at the pinnacle of the table with 25 points, three points above Coventry City who sits second.

Watford, on the other hand go into the game at the back of a draw against Crystal Palace which ended 0-0.

The Hornets, currently sit fifth in PDL2 South table with 14 points, and hope to improve on their League performance. They are 11points behind their hosts.

Euell, hopes his side rich vein of form continues in other to increase their lead on top of the table.
