The African Market showcases ethnic fashion, arts & crafts, delicacies and street foods, natural beauty products and traditional music, featuring a selection of African performers, designers and creatives.
When the market next opens on 27 February, there will be activities for children including face-painting and story-telling. The market also functions as a networking event for entrepreneurs of African origin.
The African Market has been an occasional feature of East London life since 2010. But from now on it is due to take place on the fourth Saturday of every month from 11am-5pm in old Spitalfields, Horner Square, London E1 6EW.
