On Thursday 9 November at around 4.30pm police were called to make an arrest at Ailsa House on the University of East London Docklands campus.
The person they arrested was a female, second year student sporting an Adidas-style outfit. Several students watched as the young woman was handcuffed by two police officers after she attempted to flee the scene.
It transpired that she had been staying on campus without permission – refusing to leave after falling out with a resident who had been a close friend. Multiple warnings were ignored and finally the police were called to extract her from the student residence.
After this incident what looked like her belongings were left outside.
