Charlton U21’s On Verge Of Title Win

The Addicks close in on the Professional Development League 2 South title as they travel to the KC Stadium to face Hull City U21.

Charlton U21 are in pole position to secure the Professional Development League 2 South title as they play Hull City in a crucial title decider game.

The Addicks currently hold a nine-point advantage over Cardiff City, Millwall U21 and Colchester United U21 respectively. All three teams are on the same points with a game in hand.

Charlton manager, Jason Euell had been hoping for a pressure-free game, but Cardiff’s recent win against Watford means that the Addicks need a win in tonight’s match to secure the title.

The Addicks Development squad goes into the game on the back of a crucial win against Leeds United. The only goal of the game was scored by Josh Umerah to take them a step closer to lifting the League title.

Hull city on the other hand welcome Charlton to the KC stadium after a they suffered a defeat at the hands of Cardiff City last week. They currently sit third in the PDL North.
