Sead Dizdarevic reports on a challenging warm-up match for the senior men…

More GB hockey has been announced at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as the senior men’s team will go up against the world number one Australia.

Hockey fans will enjoy a marvellous fixture pitting together two rivals who have one of the most memorable rivalries in sporting history and it looks set to continue this summer on Saturday 13th June at 2pm.

Bobby Crutchley’s side are facing a massive test against the likes of Mark Knowles who was awarded with the FIH World Player of the Year award for 2014, but it should provide some much-needed preparation for their road to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

This will be a hard-fought match between two great hockey playing nations and bitter rivals, so entertainment levels will be high for such a great spectacle.
