The Premier South Men’s 1st Basketball game between University of Bath and UEL has little impact on the standings: UEL remain the front runners in the division with a perfect 9-0 record while hosts Bath sit fourth with a record of 3-5.
Nevertheless, UEL will be looking to end the regular season with no losses, so this game will not be taken lightly. Bath would also like to end the season on a high with a win against the top team in the division. The previous meeting between these two was at the Sports Dock on the Docklands Campus at UEL, finishing 104-37 to UEL.
UEL come off a resounding 100-65 victory over their closest rivals Brunel and after nine straight wins they will now be looking to complete the perfect season. Bath, however, go into the game having lost their last four games, most recently to London South Bank 77-41. The form guide may suggest an easy game for UEL but as the season comes to a close anything can happen and it should be a good game of basketball.
