O’s Have Title In Sight

Lucy Huggins looks forward to the much anticipated match between Orient women and Fulham foundation FC women.

Leyton Orient Women will be playing away this weekend against Fulham FC Foundation, at the Fulham FC training ground.

Leyton are holding strong with 34 points and sitting comfortably in second place in the league. However, Fulham Ladies are eighth with a total of nine points so far.

The O’s are feeling confident as ever with a 2-1 win in last week’s L&SERWFL League Cup game over Carshalton Athletic.

All players were on top form. Sophie Le Marchand and Belen Ripoll Douton were the teams’ scorers.

Unflattering

Orient manager Chris Brayford will be hoping his side continue their good form from last Sunday, and his players will be looking forward to this game as last time the two teams met the score ended been an unflattering 12-0 victory in favour of Leyton Orient.

Fulham Ladies lost 1-0 to Carshalton Athletic in their recent meeting, a result which will only aid in giving the O’s Ladies more confidence for the game against Fulham this Sunday.

As the season is coming to close Orient women’s performance levels has increased and the team looks stronger as they try to make that final push for the title, victory on Sunday against Fulham would see them move a step closer to that goal.

The game kick off at 2pm
