Millwall will be eyeing a fifth win of their Championship campaign when they travel to Cardiff City this Saturday (28th).

Last time out both sides won their respective games. Millwall beat struggling Birmingham City 2-0 at The Den, with Cardiff narrowly beating mid-table Middlesbrough 1-0 at the Riverside Stadium.

Millwall currently sit in 15th place in the Championship, with 16 points after 13 games having won four, drawn four and lost five.

In their past five games The Lions have had mixed results (DWLLW), so will be desperate to pick up three points to get their season back on track.

Cardiff City, under the guidance of Neil Warnock, have had a strong start to the season. 2nd in the automatic promotion places with 27 points, Cardiff look to be a tough test for Millwall. Their current form reads three wins, one draw and one loss (WWDLW).

The Lions’ top goal scorer George Saville will be looking to get back on the scoresheet after his last goal came on September 26th in a 2-0 win against Reading.

These sides last met back in April 2015 in the Championship at the Cardiff City Stadium. Both teams failed to break the deadlock, with Millwall being relegated to League One later that season.

Neil Harris will want his Millwall side to put on a strong performance against the high-flying Bluebirds from South Wales, as his Lions look to put distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Kick-off is at 3pm.
