Preview: O’s Host Premier League Spurs

Lucy Huggins looks forward to a tight Capital Cup Semi Final for the O's against Spurs Ladies.

After winning 3-1 last week against Cambridge City in the FA Cup first round the O’s were drawn against Spurs for the second round tie. As luck would have it Orient also face Spurs in the Capital Cup-Senior quarter final this Sunday 20th November at home at 13:00.

Spurs are going to be a real test for the O’s considering they play in the FA Women’s Premier League, Orient would have to be at their best to progress to the Semi Final of the Capital Cup this Sunday.

All to Play For

Tottenham Hotspur Ladies like the O’s Ladies have made a strong start to the season having  drawn once and won thirteen games so far. This has positioned them second in the league table, just below Cardiff City Ladies in the Southern Division League.

However like most cup games stats are put aside and it’s all about who performs best on the day. If the O’s can replicate the form they have shown in previous games there could be a chance of an upset.

With both teams starting the season brightly this would be a thrilling game to watch, with the O’s keen to maintain their 100% start to the season

Kick off the the Mile End stadium is at 13:00 on Sunday.
