Shooting Their Way To The Top?

London Shoot Fighters is widely known as a mixed Martial Arts and Combat Sports gym.

Their first branch opened in 1997 in Park Royal in North West London, and now they have opened another branch in East London, a few minutes away from Docklands and Canary Wharf.

The West London gym has been home to many professional fighters and champions such as Jean Silva, Marius Zaromskis, James Thompson, Marcin Held and Alex Reid. London Shoot Fighters (LSF) are now hoping to replicate this success on the east side of the city.

LSF incorporates a mixture of martial arts such Boxing, Wrestling, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Submission Wrestling and scientific strength and conditioning – all taught by expert coaches. The new branch offers a fully equipped gym with treadmills, bicycles, weights and plenty of space to train.

“As a fighter I appreciate the fact that I can finish my weight training and jump straight to my MMA fight. The facilities here are very good, I really appreciate it,” said professional fighter Gabriel da Silva.

The set-up is also suitable for the less experienced. White belt William Raniery (22) said: “The trainers here are extremely helpful. I have been doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for about six months now.” Proudly, William added that he had already taken part “in a competition in Birmingham where I won a silver medal.”

The new branch of London Shoot Fighters is now open for new members to join.
