Hackney born rapper Not3s recently released his long awaited EP, Take Notes. He first became known to the public through his massive breakout track ‘Addison Lee’ which received over eight million views on YouTube. The release of his second song ‘Aladdin’ proved that he is more than just a one hit wonder.

The Take Notes EP released on November 17th reveals Not3s as not only creative, but consistent, and proves that he can sing as well as rap. The album embraces genres such as Afrobeats and Hip-hop with undertones of Grime. The tune ‘99+1’ featuring London rapper Mostack and producer Steal Bangles is destined to be another club hit, while No drama featuring South London rapper Tinie Tempah and Singer Shakka adopts a very R&B vibe. This is definitely my favourite song on the EP, and I was delighted that Not3s was able to step out of his comfort zone and deliver something new on this track.

Although nearly half of the tracks on the EP have been out for some time, the final instalment represents a refreshing treat for all Not3s fans.
