The Addicks Take On The Eagles

Charlton’s U23s resume their Professional Development League 2 South campaign when they host the Eagles at the DGS Marine Stadium.

The encounter sees Jason Euell’s side back in action again following their Premier League Cup duties against Fulham. The Addicks will battle it out against Crystal Palace at the DGS Marine Stadium.

Last time the two teams met in November, Mikhail Kennedy bagged the only goal of the game to earn his side the local bragging rights.

The Northern Irishman struck 12 minutes from time, converting Josh Umerah’s low cross from close range, to consolidate Charlton’s position at the summit of the PDL2.

The Addicks are still top of the table. They have recorded 42 points from their opening 21 matches, won 12, drawn six, lost three and conceded 19.

The Eagles, meanwhile, are ninth having picked up 22 points from their opening 20 matches. They have won six, lost 10and conceded 34. Crystal Palace were beaten 3-0 in their last outing against Ipswich Town.

Euell’s team are going into the game with no fresh injuries and he will hope his youngsters can record the win next week to help extend their lead to eight points.
