Jason Euell’s side should have fresh legs since their Premier League Cup clash at AFC Wimbledon last time out was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The most recent encounter between the Addicks and the Tractor Boys ended 4-2 in favour of the Addicks back in November with Joshua Umerah, Mikhail Kennedy and Reeco Hacket- Fairchild all on the scoring sheet for Charlton.
With four points separating Charlton and Cardiff City, a win for Euell’s side will see them extend their lead at the summit of the League 2 South table.

Ipswich are going into the game following 3- 0 defeat they suffered at the hands of Liverpool U23s last week Sunday. The East Anglians occupy eighth in the league table and a win will see them jump two places above Queen Park Rangers and Bristol City.
Euell hopes his youngsters can deliver the results that will see them back as favourites to defend the league they won last year.
