The recent Women’s March on London, sparked by opposition to Trump’s inauguration, shows the level of concern in the UK about the Trump effect on British women.

With Britain being America’s biggest ally in Europe, nay the world, the new president’s policies are sure to have consequences on this side of the Atlantic.

“America is a super powerful nation so you know, he will always have influence on laws over here because the UK and US are allies”, said Yasmin, a marcher.  “I mean the way his supporters feel about women as people is so scary. A woman is a human! You know, you cannot dictate what she can do with her body.”

Prime Minister Theresa May met with President Trump on the 26 January 2017 to discuss the futures of both countries.

Let’s hope that the UK prime minister can hold the line against Trump’s incursive influence and his invasive policies.
