There’s A Party In The House

Jean-Luc Peterson hears House stalwart Robert Owens in the basement of Dalston Superstore.

Robert Owens is a vocalist and dj associated with the golden era of House music in the late 1980s. He is currently playing midweek nights in the laser pit of the Dalston Superstore.

‘The people of the UK are definitely the most passionate about dance music,’ Owens insists. ‘I love coming to play inĀ  London – it’s always a good party.’

It certainly is whenever Owens is playing. He is a magnetic presence behind the decks and his live vocals are inimitable.

In the Dalston Superstore basement, old school House enthusiasts will also enjoy appearances from Owens’ guests, such as Terry Farley and K-Alexi.
