Dagenham & Redbridge will have Ivan Toney back from suspension after receiving a red card on Boxing Day. The Daggers go into the game unbeaten in three, having defeated Bury last week at Victoria Road following draws against Southend and Oxford United.

However, they are looking for their first away win since 29th November. Top scorer Jamie Cureton will be looking to break his duck and add to his tally of seven goals after failing to score in the last five.

Northampton Town aren’t on the best run at home having not won at Sixfields since beating Stevenage in late November. Nevertheless, the in-form Marc Richards will be a threat to the travelling East London team, with 13 goals this season making him League Two’s top goal scorer.

Lawson D’Ath is the only player who has a connection with both teams. The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at the Daggers from Reading, playing 21 times and scoring once.

The Daggers do not have the best record against the Cobblers, picking up only one point from nine meetings, and losing at Victoria Road earlier this season.

Still, they’ll be additionally motivated to know that they would move above Northampton Town in League Two with a win at the weekend.
