UEL Aim To Maintain Winning Form

Anna Rota reports on the UEL Women’s Volleyball team as they look to overtake Essex.

UEL Volleyball women’s team face University of Cambridge later today at the SportsDock, University of London, as the Londoners keep pace with their rivals Essex.

Great success for UEL

Both UEL and Essex are in a great run of form. They have both lost only one game and they are both strongly determined to reach the top the league and overcome the unbeaten University of Oxford.

UEL v. Cambridge

Last time they met, Cambridge produced an overwhelming performance against UEL, as they could not keep up with the Blues and had to surrender to a powerful 3:0 losing margin.

This year Cambridge are struggling at the bottom of the league as they have not won a game so far.

Leapfrog

This Wednesday UEL have a chance to prove their strength and to finally leapfrog University of Essex.

The Blades are facing Sussex, who have recently lost to Oxford and have only collected a solitary home win against Cambridge.

UEL’s hopes to finally triumph over Essex are depending on an unlikley win for Sussex.
