Thamesmead Town will be looking to add to Maidstone United’s FA cup woes by knocking them out of the Kent Senior Cup, reports Casey Cooper-Fiske.

Thamesmead come into tonight’s game off of the back of a 3-1 defeat to AFC Wimbledon in the London Cup, after Saturday’s proposed away domestic fixture against Haringey Borough was postponed. The Meed will look to take the positives from the Wimbledon game into tonight’s fixture, with all eyes on midfielder Derek Duncan to repeat his impressive performance.

Opponents Maidstone United sit third in the National League South. The Stones had gone nine games unbeaten before being beaten by Yeovil in the FA Cup last weekend. Thamesmead themselves had been on an unbeaten run of three games prior to their defeat to Wimbledon.

Both teams report no further injury worries, and Thamesmead will be buoyed by the possibility of a debut for their three new midweek signings. Lesley Thompson returns to the club from Thurrock, Jose Figura, joins the club after a spell in the Icelandic league, and striker Paul Vines arrives from VCD Athletic.
