Wallace Stays At The Den

Declan McCarthy reports on Millwall’s activity on Transfer Deadline Day:

Wolves loanee Jed Wallace has signed a two-month extension to his loan deal at Millwall.

It follows reports that manager Neil Harris spoke with Wolves manager Kenny Jackett earlier in the week. Wallace had originally signed for Millwall on an initial 28 day loan in early January

Harris told millwallfc.co.uk he is ‘delighted’ with the news.

“We have been very happy with Jed since he first joined us,” Harris said.

“He has been getting better and better with every game and is enjoying being at Millwall, playing matches and contributing to results.

“I’m delighted that we have managed to tie Jed down to a longer stay because we are confident that he will continue making a big impact at the club.”

Wallace, 21, was named Millwall’s player of the month for January. In that time he has provided two assists in five appearances for the Lions.
