Webb: The Fans Can Be Optimistic

Leyton Orient secured their first point under new manager Danny Webb following a 1-1 draw against Yeovil on Saturday, Declan McCarthy reports

Yeovil’s Francio Zoko scored late on in the first half but Gavin Massey’s last-gasp goal put a stop to Leyton Orient’s run of six consecutive losses.

O’s manager Danny Webb said, “It sounds good, it’s more pleasing that those players are coming away from these games with points rather than without.

“I’m conscious not to sound like a broken record, [over the] last couple of games – I know some listening [will] say we’ve heard that one and I get that.

“It was pleasing for all those travelling supporters, that have come all this way and that late goal would have made their journey home much sweeter.”

Orient are back in action this Saturday as they travel to Plymouth, a team that are unbeaten in two games as they won 3-0 against play-off hopefuls Exeter.
