British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is self-isolating at No 10 Downing Street after testing positive for coronavirus. But how did he catch it?

After tests were performed on the cat’s faeces, we can reveal that the culprit is none other than Larry The Cat, the resident mouse-catcher in No 10.

Although the 12-year-old moggy had not shown any symptoms, officials believe the cat may have been infected for several days before passing on the virus to flatmate Boris Johnson. Civil servants are now tracking down cats in the area who may have had contact with the feline super-spreader.

Larry himself is self-isolating in Downing Street. He is being treated by some of the best vets in the UK.

This is not the first time that Larry has hit the headlines. He may have an innocent look on his feline face, but Larry has a reputation for being violent and disruptive.

The infection could have been passed on during a row a few weeks ago when Larry was seen spitting at Boris.

Looking at Larry the Cat’s personal Twitter account it’s clear there’s bad blood between the coolest cat in Downing Street and the Prime Minister.

Larry is thought to be the first cat to contract the virus in the UK.

We wish Boris Johnson and his Chief Mouser a very speedy recovery.
