Hereford have lost just one of their last five league games and sit 13th in the National League North, one division below Bromley.

Bromley are unbeaten in their last five and come into this fixture off the back of a less-than convincing draw at home to Gateshead last week.

Bromley join the campaign in this stage of the competition, whilst their visitors from up North joined in the second qualifying round.

The Bulls are yet to concede a goal so far in the competition, beating Bromsgrove Sporting 1-0 before following that up with a 3-0 win over Three Bridges in the previous round.

Hereford history

Bromley are yet to face the newly formed Hereford F.C., once named Hereford United before going bust in December 2014 due to going in debt.

The new club formed that same month and were placed in the Midland Premier Division. They enjoyed three successive promotions in their first three full seasons as a club and are now playing in their fifth consecutive season in the National League North.

Two well-known faces

Bromley skipper Byron Webster and defensive partner Chris Bush both played for the old Hereford United side. Both players signed loan deals with the club before Bush’s signing became permanent for the 2013/14 season.

Manager looks ahead

Bromley manager Andy Woodman is looking forward to fixture:

“I think it will be a nice welcome change for everyone, and the FA Cup’s the FA Cup so we’re looking forward to that and welcoming Hereford”.
