19 Aug: Lewes (A)

An injury-plagued Charlton side opened the season with a 5-0 defeat at Lewes in the FA Women’s Continental Cup. Despite a number of fine saves from goalkeeper Katie Startup, the Sussex club made it a day to forget for the Addicks.

26 Aug: Millwall (H)

Riteesh Mishra’s side bounced back in emphatic fashion by defeating Millwall Lionesses 4-2. Kit Graham, Ellie Bailes and Gemma Bryan were the goal scorers at Oakwood.

19 Sep: Aston Villa (H)

Charlton started life in the FA Women’s Championship with a bang as they overcame Aston Villa, courtesy of a Gemma Bryan’s brace. It was a dominant display by the Addicks who were unfortunate not to have won by more.

23 Sep: Durham (A)

Charlton’s progress was halted at the hands of Durham who held the Addicks to a 2-2 draw at New Ferens Park. The North East club proved a tough task for Mishra’s side with Amelia Ritchie having to rescue a point late on.

30 Sep: Lewes (H)

The South London club exacted revenge on Lewes, following their emphatic win in the month prior, with a 4-1 victory. Lewes arrived at Oakwood boasting a 100 percent record in the league but were put to the sword by a rampant Charlton side.

14 Oct: Man United (A)

Manchester United inflicted Charlton’s first league defeat of the season as the Red Devils claimed all three points with a emphatic 3-0 win.

21 Oct: Sheffield United (H)

The Addicks were quick to put the disappointment behind them with Amber Stobbs and Charley Clifford on hand as they defeated Sheffield United 2-0.

28 Oct: Millwall (A)

Charlton recorded their largest win of the season as they put eight past London rivals Millwall. Liz Ejjupi played a staring role as she netted four, with April Bowers, Lily Agg, Charlotte Gurr and Kit Graham also getting their names on the score sheet.

4 Nov: London Bees (H)

Oakwood was quickly becoming a real fortress for the ladies as they maintained their 100 percent record there with a 3-0 win over London Bees. Ejupi and Gemma Bryan were on hand in the first half to claim a scalp of another London side.

18 Nov: Tottenham (A)

Promotion rivals Tottenham edged the Addicks in a closely contest battle which resulted in a 1-0 defeat for the ladies. A lackadaisical moment in defence saw Jessica Naz latch on to a loose pass and round keeper Startup to gift Spurs all three points.

25 Nov: Crystal Palace (H)

Charlton responded in their usual buoyant manner with a late 2-1 win over Crystal Palace. Six minutes into stoppage time, Clifford latched on to a loose ball in the box to seal a dramatic three points.

2 Dec: Leicester City (A)

The south London club’s promotion credentials were on show away at Leicester as they overcame the Foxes in a 4-0 win. Agg and Ejupi were the heroes as the duo both bagged braces in a win that saw the ladies move into second.

5 Dec: Arsenal (A)

It proved a tough day at the office for Charlton as eventual League Cup finalists Arsenal netted five. Despite a spirited effort from Mishra’s defence, the Super League club showed their class with a five-star display.

9 Dec: Lewes (A)

Charlton laid down a marker to their fellow promotion rivals as a 2-0 win over Lewes saw them move level with Manchester United at the top of the FA Women’s Championship. Goals from Ejupi and Agg either side of half-time were decisive at The Dripping Pan.

12 Dec: West Ham (H)

The ladies bowed out of the FA Women’s Continental League Cup at the group stage following a 2-0 defeat inflicted by West Ham United. Mishra made a number of changes from the side that won at Lewes but despite pushing the top-flight side all the way, the Hammers came out on top.

6 Jan: Durham (H)

Charlotte Gurr helped save the Addicks unbeaten run at Oakwood with a late goal in a 2-2 draw with fellow promotion candidates Durham. The forward netted in 86th minute to rescue a point for Charlton, with Ellie Bailes also finding the back of the net.

27 Jan: Sheffield United (A)

Mishra saw his side earn a hard-fought win at Olympic Legacy Park as the ladies edged out the Blades 3-2. Clifford’s spectacular effort proved crucial in clinching all three points for the south London club with Danielle Cox and Ebony Salmon also netting.

10 Feb: Huddersfield Town (H)

Charlton crashed out of the FA Cup at the fourth-round stage as the Terriers produced a stunning three-goal comeback to win on penalties.

20 Feb: Aston Villa (A)

During this evening’s clash with Millwall, the ladies will be looking to bounce back from an unfortunate defeat to Villa last time out. Two first half goals from the hosts leave the Addicks sat fourth in the FA Women’s Championship.
