Coconut Haters Have Reason To Celebrate

If you love sweets at Christmas but hate coconut, then you have until December 18th to take advantage of Bounty-less Celebration tubs.

And according to research we have carried out, that includes young East Londoners, because only one in three told us that they liked Bounty. This matches research carried out by Mars Wrigley which found that out of 2000 people aged between 16 and 65, only 40% liked the sweet.

The Bounty-less offer follows the Celebration brand’s “Bounty Return Scheme” in 2021, when customers could return their coconut-flavoured chocolates, or swap them for a more beloved taste.

The company announced that the limited edition Celebration boxes would be available only at selected UK Tesco stores, and only in the run-up to Christmas, not Christmas itself.

The final decision as to whether or not Mars Wrigley will remove Bounties from their tubs permanently has not been made yet. So coconut fans have nothing to worry about on Christmas Day.
