Fans at the Chigwell Construction Stadium were in high spirits last week, as their club hosted neighbours West Ham United in a bid to raise funds before the end of the season.
A brace from Michail Antonio, and a late strike from new signing Jordan Hugill sealed the win for the Premier League big boys, who defeated John Still’s non-league side 3-1
The event was a resounding success, with a sell-out crowd creating for an unforgettable atmosphere for both sets of supporters to savour.
Daggers will seek further investment and sponsorship following this great fundraising exhibition to secure safety for the club, and hopefully raise their game in the Vanarama National League where their form had subsided prior to the fixture.
