Up and coming new singer Sam Ryder has taking the world by storm by battling through the nerves as he prepares to represent the U.K. in the Eurovision Song Contest this weekend.

Chelmsford, where he first started singing. He states that he is a big Eurovision fan and has enjoyable memories of watching the contest as a child with his family in Essex.

He’s also revealed that he was inspired to learn to play the guitar because of the Finnish rock band Lordi, who won the 2006 edition of Eurovision.

Keeping Calm And Focused

Ryder has stated he is “staying focused and present in the midst of a maybe disastrous result to the show.” But we feel that he is now more ready than ever to display his talent to the world. His fans have voiced out for the new UK talent to vastly improve on last year’s UK performance, when James Newman finished in last place with 0 points. Hopefully Sam can go all the way for us this year.

Sam Ryder has also mentioned that “I have been given some pointers from previous Eurovision contestants,” with this he can most definitely know what it takes in order to win.

Our fingers are crossed, Sam. You go for it and smash it!
