West Ham are back at the London Stadium on Monday to take on newly promoted Bournemouth.

Recent Form

The Hammers will look to bounce back after their 1-0 to defeat to Liverpool, ending their five-game unbeaten run in all competitions. Their recent run of good form lifted West Ham out of the relegation zone, as they now sit in 13th place two points off the drop.

Bournemouth had their own unbeaten run ended on Wednesday, with a 1-0 loss to Southampton snapping the Cherries’ run of six games without losing.

Bournemouth are still yet to name a new permanent manager after sacking Scott Parker, currently under the interim charge of Gary O’Neil. The ex-West Ham player has guided his side to 10 points and 11th place in the table.

Speaking of managers, the last time these sides met was David Moyes’ first game back in charge of West Ham on New Year’s Day 2020. His side ended up 4-0 victors at the London Stadium, three points that would prove vital in a relegation battle that saw Bournemouth drop down to the Championship.

Team News/Injury News

Hammers’ club record signing Lucas Paqueta didn’t feature in Wednesday’s loss to Liverpool after suffering a collarbone injury on Sunday. The Brazilian is expected to be out for at least two weeks.

Craig Dawson has missed the last two games due to a dead leg, but could feature on Monday. Maxwell Cornet and Nayef Aguerd remain out.

There’s no fresh injury news for Bournemouth. Lloyd Kelly and David Brooks remain side-lined with ankle and hamstring injuries respectively.
