Ilford will be looking to build on a resounding 3-0 victory against bottom side Woodford as they take on Sawbridgeworth Town, also known as ‘Sawbo’.

The visitors are just once place above Ilford in the table in 13th position and may feel a win is essential here, due to Ilford having three games in hand over Wednesday night’s opponents.

Ilford will be full of confidence after Saturday’s performance having secured their first victory since September and their first clean sheet of the season.

Sawbo, on the other hand will be looking to get back to winning ways after they suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Hoddesdon Town. The visitors will want to put their season back on track having won just two of their 11 games played so far this season.

Ones to watch

Sawbridgeworth will be hoping frontman Connor Clark to get back in the goals this game. The striker has four to his name so far this campaign.

Sawbo boast a good range of goal scorers with five players chipping in with two or more goals so far in the league, so the Ilford defence will need to be at their best to snuff out the goals coming from all over the Sawbridgeworth front line.

As ever Ilford will be looking to top scorer Yemi Adelani to continue his fine form. The striker is currently on a run of 5 goals in his last 6 outings.

At the other end of the pitch, young goalkeeper Joshua Blackburn has put in some exceptional performances of late, looking unbeatable in their most recent outing and will no doubt be hoping to add to his first clean sheet.
