Leyton Orient pulled off a thrilling comeback against Sutton United in League Two, scoring four goals after falling behind by one at Brisbane Road.

A goal from Theo Archibald cancelled out the opener from Isaac Olaofe which sparked Harry Smith’s brilliant brace before Tom Jones sealed the game by adding a fourth in stoppage time.

The match proved to be very challenging for the O’s as Sutton United deservedly went ahead after 18 minutes when Olaofe dispossessed Shad Ogie in the centre circle, dribbled into the 18-yard box and hammered his shot into the top right corner.

The reply from Archibald came in the 30th minute as a long throw was flicked onto Harry Smith who simply had to tap it home to equalise.

Second half screamer

There was an instant response from Orient in the second half as Harry Smith pounced on a loose ball to take his side 2:1 in the 46th minute. His second of the night was astonishing volley that came in the 82nd minute after he rocketed a poor clearance into the top left corner from 25 yards out.

The fourth and final goal came in the stoppage time after a clever bit of play from a corner found Tom Jones in space who beat the keeper at his near post.

Leyton Orient will look to keep their fine scoring form as they travel to Scunthorpe United on Tuesday.
