Millwall striker Matt Smith denied Bristol City an important victory at the Den as he cancelled out Pedro Pereira’s first half strike to earn the London side a point.

Nottingham Forest currently sit 4th in the EFL Championship having played 36 games this season and they will look continue their unbeaten run and get an important victory against The Lions.

Forest come into this game in decent form after being unbeaten in their last four outings, winning one and drawing three.

Rejuvenated Grabban?

Lewis Grabban scored a late equaliser to stretch Forest’s unbeaten record to four games.

The Croydon-born forward is Forest’s top scorer with 17 goals as he continues to stay in the hunt for the golden boot this season and he will look to get on the scoresheet again against a resolute Millwall side who have only conceded 40 goals in the league, which is the sixth fewest in the division.

Team News

Shaun Williams and Ryan Leonard could make a return to the Millwall squad for Friday night’s clash at the City Ground. Meanwhile, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Tom Bradshaw are both currently suffering from illnesses.

Both teams managed to play out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the corresponding fixture at The Den. Both sides have drawn three of their last five games, and this game should keep spectators on the edge of their seats as it is likely to be a close encounter.

A victory for the home team on Friday evening would give Forest manager Sabri Lamouchi a huge confidence boost, but they will have to be aware of the threat that Millwall will cause them.

They will face a hugely motivated Millwall side that will desperately be looking for a change in form as they will look to repay the faith given by Millwall manager Gary Rowett.
