It has been announced that Mark Noble will be playing at Soccer Aid on 12th June at the London Stadium.

The match is scheduled to be last time that Noble will play before his upcoming retirement, enabling him to bow out of the game for the final time with all his friends and family and the fans cheering his name.

A West Ham Legend

Let’s just take a moment to embrace this wonderful player. Captain of his boyhood club West Ham, the midfielder has been nothing but a loyal servant and class player and captain to the club.

He has served well for the community and has been nothing short of a role model to future young players that will come through the ranks as the Premier League 2021-2022 season draws to a close.

Noble is retiring from the sport entirely which will be a huge dent for the squad’s future. They will have to dig deep as the captaincy will be in young prodigy Declan Rice’s hands.

Legacy

The central midfielder has achieved many great things at the club including winning the club’s Hammer of the Year trophy twice as well as being voted twice for Hammer of the Decade in 2010 and as of 2021, he has been the longest serving player at a single club amongst any of Europe’s top leagues.

He has also played for England at U16, 17, 18, 19 and 21 level. The game this weekend against Manchester City will see him play for West Ham at London Stadium for the final time.
