May Nominated For Peace Prize

Theresa May has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Her exceptional work at bridging gaps between leavers and remainers by uniting almost all of them in opposition to her compromise deal has impressed the peace-loving Scandinavians so much that the Norwegian Nobel Committee has nominated May for this year’s award.

Keeping the country together and coming to a shared misunderstanding with other political parties as well as with the people has been one of the strongest themes of May’s premiership. Her determination to repeat what no-one wants to hear again and again has set a standard in communication skills that has made the UK the envy of other EU countries.

Although EU leaders have made no concessions over May’s Brexit deal, they must concede that May has managed to bring them together – in a shared contempt for the British voter – like no other EU Council member.

So let’s cross our fingers and hope that the best prime minister the UK has ever had wins the Nobel Noble Prize.
