Jarrod Bowen is a professional footballer, who plays as a winger for West ham United in the Premier league. Bowen was born on the 20th December 1996, in Leominster, Herefordshire.

Breakthrough

During his youth he had two unsuccessful trials for two different clubs, Aston Villa and Cardiff City. As a result of the unsuccessful trials Bowen began his football career as a scholar for Hereford United.

When he was 17 he eventually got into the Hereford United first team due to his impressive performances with the youth team. His first debut was in a 2-0 loss to Barnet on 22nd March 2014.

Professional Career Gets On Track 

Bowen signed for Premier League club Hull City in 2016. He impressed his manager during pre-season, which led to him making his first team debut on 23rd  August 2016 in a 3-1 win against Exeter City.

Bowen’s first goal for Hull City came on 5th August 2017 in a 1-1 draw away to Aston Villa. Bowen signed a new contract with Hull in 2017 until 2020. He managed to score 54 goals across all competitions in 131 appearances for the club.

On the 31st January 2020 Bowen signed for West Ham on a permanent transfer, for £18 million plus £7 million add-ons. On the 29th February that year, Bowen was given his first start for West Ham United and contributed with his first goal for the club in a 3-1 win against Southampton.

On the 21st October 2021 Bowen scored his first European goal in a 3-0 win against Genk.

Life Outside Of Football

In October 2021, Bowen was reported to be in a relationship with reality television personality Dani Dyer.

On the 15th November 2021 Dani Dyer and Bowen stepped out together for the first time since confirming they are an item. The couple grabbed coffees after spending a romantic weekend together in a glam London hotel.

Danny Dyer, father of Dani, shared an affectionate post about Jarrod Bowen when he enjoyed a night out with the West Ham ace. Danny, 44, put an arm around Jarrod as the pair beamed in their matching black tops. Danny cheekily captioned the shot : ”That grin,” as he got to know his daughter’s new man better.
