Given the recent cranking up of the coronavaris clamp down, Kat Badoova adds her own suggestions for quality guaranteeing to those already out there.

Thanks to COVID-19 we are all stuck at home most of the time. So here are nine ways to kill the boredom

  1. Watch one of the latest shows available on Netflix, or two…or five. Here are some suggestions: Series two of that quirky but insightful show about sex and teenagers, Sex Education. You: a creepy but thrilling show about an strangely appealing stalker. Itaewon Class: a Korean drama about a guy who wants revenge on the man who destroyed his life. And lastly, if you’re more into reality TV then Love is Blind is is about the phenomenon of love at first sight.
  2. Work out. Now that going to the gym is out of the question YouTube videos offer a great alternative. Some of them are much more fun than the gym, and you don’t have to pay!
  3. Use one of those videos out there to learn a new dance. When the quarantine is over and you finally get to go to a party again, you can impress everyone with your new dance moves.
  4. Bake something delicious. It could be brownies, cookies or a cake you have never tried before.
  5. And when you are finished baking, get cooking as well. With all the chaos going on outside, making a wonderful meal for your loved one will be  much appreciated.
  6. Listen to new music. Find artists or genres that you are not particularly familiar with and explore them. Who know, maybe you’ll find a new artists to obsess over.
  7. Spend more time with the loved ones you are hunkering down with. Get off your devices and have a conversation! Reminisce about fun times and just enjoy each other’s company for a change.
  8. Do some drawing and painting. It will kill the boredom and relieve some stress.  Even if you’re no good, there are great tutorials that you can follow online. Or just doodle! You can always say you were going for that ‘abstract’ style.
  9. And finally, catch up on all that work you’ve been neglecting. We all have a pile of things we need to finish but can’t bring ourselves to do it. Well now, thanks to COVID-19, we can finally get it all done.
