Living in London in a pokey flat or in a shared house with complete strangers is challenging at the best of times. Being forced to stay indoors under lockdown conditions can be irritating and uncomfortable. In these circumstances, maintaining sanity means finding new things to do which exercise the various aspects of our personality.

Salsa dancing will exercise your body, and it’s good for the soul! Salsa is already known as an anti-stress therapy: it releases tensions and stimulates the mind. As dancing requires dancers to memorise steps, it creates a mental challenge crucial for brain health, and it is great for developing coordination.

What’s not to like?

In Spain retired Salsa teacher Ruyman Alejandro Pulido Sosa gives free online lessons from his Facebook page every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm. In one of his classes he said; “Like all of you, I am also bored at home, so why not all have fun dancing?”

Ruyman’s professionalism and passion for dancing make him a great dancing teacher. Humorous and dynamic, he projects positive and encouraging vibes to his students, and his dancing lessons are not to be missed. Let’s Salsa!
