Former football league side Chesterfield were unbeaten until their last three league games which have resulted in three consecutive defeats against Maidenhead United, Dagenham & Redbridge, and Eastleigh.

Bromley on the other hand haven’t suffered defeat in the league since their away trip to York City on the 13th of September. The Ravens will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing FA Cup exit to Hereford.

Head-To-Head

There have been eight meetings between the two sides since the Spireites dropped into the top tier of non-league football. Bromley won four of those games, whilst the other half of games played between the two sides amounted to three draws and one Chesterfield win, this win coming in April 2021 at Hayes Lane.

Home sweet Home, Hayes Lane.

Both sides this season have identical records with both having won seven, drawn three and lost three. The goal difference is also the same, with a difference of seven and share 24 points. It is Chesterfield who sit higher on goals scored (25 compared to Bromley’s 20).

Player To Watch

Kabongo Tshmimanga has impressed many football fans with his prolific goalscoring, particularly for Boreham Wood in what was a two-year spell at the club, where he netted 38 times in 79 appearances for the club. The striker also played a key role in Wood’s impressive run to the FA Cup fifth round in 2021/22.

Tshimanga already has 28 goals in 36 matches in all competitions since he made the switch from Hertfordshire to Derbyshire.

Both sides will be looking to keep hold of their play-off spot and continue their strong respective starts to the season.
