Londoner John Ryder (26-4) will challenge unbeaten Russian Andrey Sirotkin (15-0) on October 27th at the CopperBox Arena in a fight promoted by Matchroom Boxing and televised by Sky Sports.

MAIN EVENT

Ryder, who is a former WBA International Middleweight titlist will try to overcome Sirotkin who will make his first visit to the United Kingdom as a professional.

The British fighter will try to get closer to a world title shot after losing an eliminator to Jack Arnfield back in 2016.

The Islington-based boxer comes into this fight with an impressive win over Jamie Cox back in May on the Bellew-Haye II undercard, and will try to establish his name in the super-middleweight division.

For undefeated Russian Sirotkin, this will be arguably the biggest test up to date since facing former two-division world champion Ricardo Mayorga at the end of 2017.

COMEBACK

One of the interesting fights on the night will be between cruiserweights Isaac Chamberlain (9-1) and Luke Watkin (13-1).

For Chamberlain, who is considered as one of the best cruiserweights in Britain, this would be the first appearance in the ring since his one-sided loss to former UEL shcolar Lawrence Okolie in February at the O2 Arena.

Watkins, who like Chamberlain will try to redeem himself after losing his Commonwealth belt to Okolie as well at the famous York Hall in June.

STACKED UNDERCARD

Fight night will feature a number of exciting prospects including Ted Cheeseman, Felix Cash and Ryan Doyle.

For Cheeseman nicknamed ‘The Big Cheese’, this would be a chance to capitalize on a great year in which he beat the experienced Carson Jones and undefeated Paul Upton. The Super-Welterweight will face Asinia Byfield for the British title.

25-year-old Felix Cash will feature on the night against an opponent who is yet to be announced.

Ryan Doyle will face undefeated Jordan Gill for the Commonwealth belt which he won earlier this year against Reece Belloti, who will also feature on the card.
