The ‘Wimbledon’ of squash is back again!

The Professional Squash Association, (PSA) returns to east London for the latest edition of its World Tour.

With proceedings of the tournament taking place Sunday there’s no better time to brush up on your squash.

With the ever growing amount of coronavirus cases there was speculation that the Canary Wharf Classic would not take place, but it was decided that the tournament would continue as scheduled, however, the Macau Open – a PSA World Tour Bronze event originally scheduled to take place at Tap Seac Square, between March 18-22, has been postponed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

The Rules

All PSA World Tour matches across both men’s and women’s competitions, are played using PAR – Point A Rally – scoring.

PAR is played using a best of 5 games format – with each game scored as the first to win 11 points.

If the score in a game is tied at 10-10, play continues until a player wins by 2 clear points.
