Starting from the 3rd of December as part of a two-year deal which will show 30 matches live, Sky sports will air the BBL Trophy Final, BBL Cup Final, BBL Playoffs, and live coverage of the Women’s BBL Playoff final.
The first game will be broadcasted from Newcastle as the Eagles welcome the London Lions to the Eagles Community Arena. The game will be hotly anticipated and is a fitting choice to get Sky coverage started. The Lions have endured a tricky start to the season going 1-2, one of those games being against the Eagles. Newcastle is the league’s most successful side and will be ready to showcase their talent to a wider audience.
The third will see a doubleheader as the B. Braun Sheffield Sharks game against the Cheshire Phoenix will also be shown on an exciting night for British Basketball.
It has also been announced that Kieron Achara MBE and Drew Lasker will be part of the Sky Sports broadcasting team and will host the BBL games.

We are going to see some excellent games this season as there are incredible British and international players at all 11 clubs.
