Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, aka Halsey, is an American singer and songwriter who became famous through social media. She uploaded her music on various platforms such as YouTube and Kik and her music quickly became viral.
Halsey’s best-known tracks include Without Me, Closer (featuring The Chainsmokers), Bad at Love and her recent single Nightmare. So far she has released three studio albums the most recent of which is called Manic, inspired by the “mania” she says she often experiences both as a person and a performing artist.
Seeing her at the 02 was an unforgettable experience for the fans and – judging by what she said to the audience – for her as well.

Her ability to get a crowd behind her is extraordinary. The setlist began with Nightmare and moved on to Castle, half way through which she stopped the music to say that she had never heard an audience react so well to the song before.

Then came the hits Eyes Closed, Colours, and Bad at Love – and by the time she sang 3am we were all screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs.
When Halsey slowed things down for songs like Clementine, and Graveyard, we knew she was gearing up to close the show. Two of the final numbers – Gasoline and Without Me – are amongst her most famous and most moving. By we weren’t just emotional about the lyrics. This had been one of the best nights of our lives – and so we were also emotional that it was all about to end.
