Top Spotify artist Abel Tesfaye, also known as singer The Weeknd, has announced the second leg of his After Hours Til Dawn tour and tickets are on sale for his performances on July 7 and 8, 2023 at The London Stadium.

The tour announcement came after the Canadian singer, moved the original After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour in October 2021 due to “constraints of arenas and the demand for more shows”.

The original tour had four London dates, as well as one in Manchester, Birmingham, and Newcastle. He announced the tour on his social media captioning the post, ‘LEG TWO IS HERE. After Hours Til Dawn Tour Comes to Europe and Latin America!!!’

Fans are sharing their excitement for the upcoming performances with one tweeting: “I need to get tickets. I have to see The Weeknd in London.” However, many are concerned about the lack of dates. ‘The Weeknd really cancelled his European tour and is now redoing it but with only 2 dates in the UK…… Manchester and London.’ Fans were hoping for more dates and are now worrying about how difficult getting tickets will be. The Weeknd originally only announced the July 7 performance in London and one on June 10 in Manchester but later added the second London gig on July 8.

His most recent album is Dawn FM which was released on January 7, 2022 and has been described as ‘a stunning display of absolute pop prowess’. The Weeknd is only behind Taylor Shift on the list of most-listened-to singers on Spotify.

He has over 78 million monthly listeners and is the most listened-to male artist on Spotify currently. Only Taylor Swift, who has over 82 million monthly listeners, is ahead of The Weeknd.
