Hull City welcome the Lions on Tuesday evening in a crucial league game, with both teams losing over the weekend. After two impressive away results in the league, Millwall slipped up at home in a dismal outing against a high-flying Preston North End.

Harris’ men will be hoping with less pressure on them away from home they can pick up another win on the road which will help steer them clear of the relegation zone.

Poor Form

With one win in their last six league games Millwall have dropped to 20th in the league and are only four points above the drop zone.

Over Millwall’s last 10 league games they have won four, drawn four and lost three. Out of the 34 points the Lions have picked up this season only 10 have been on the road, with only 13 games remaining their away form has to improve to ensure safety.

Harris must galvanise his troops and give the fans something to cheer about following the defeat to Preston, where they conceded three goals in the first half-hour of play.

Hull are also reeling from their previous outing getting beaten 5-1 to Brentford, both teams will be looking for a huge performance.

Previous Meetings

In the last five fixtures between these two sides Millwall have only lost once, their previous away game at Hull ended in a 2-1 win for the Lions.

Millwall can also take confidence from the fact they have already beaten Hull this year in the league with a 2-1 stellar performance at the Den.

Hull are without a win in their last three league games, this was rounded off with the 5-1 thumping at the hands of Brentford on Saturday.

Crucial Match

Speaking on the crucial upcoming fixture Neil Harris said: “They’ve just been beaten 5-1 in London and we’ve just been beaten at home. I’ll be looking for a reaction from my players and I’m sure Nigel will be saying the same to his players.

“I expect a game with two committed bunches of players trying to make up for the disappointment of the weekend.”

Hull will be looking to former Manchester United striker Frazier Campbell to fire them to glory, he netted his 11th goal in the league over the weekend.

Inconsistency has been a huge cause for concern for the Millwall manager this season, with the team unable to successfully pull a string of good performances and results and the Lions will be hoping to collect three big points to drag them away from the relegation zone.
