In a few days Apple will be launching Airpods Pro. But, if they cost the £250 they are rumoured to be, how can they be worth it?
Airpods are wireless Bluetooth headphones. The first version was released on 12 December 2016 and the second generation was released on 20 March 2019. According to Forbes 28 million earbuds were shipped in 2018.
I use an iPhone myself and I believe we’re being mugged off. The latest iPhones do not have a separate headphone jack which means iPhone users are not able to plug in headphones and a charger at the same time. As an iPhone user trying to conserve battery-life and listen to my favourite albums smultaneously, I have no other option but to buy Airpods.
