Dagenham & Redbridge made it five wins from six matches as they cantered to a 3-1 victory over Havant & Waterlooville on Tuesday evening.

New signing Conor Wilkinson scored his fourth goal for the club since joining on loan from Gillingham at the beginning of November, and the striker is delighted to have a manager in Peter Taylor that believes in his ability.

Post Match Interview with Conor Wilkins

Goal Scoring Form

The 23-year-old has been in terrific form since he made the switch to the National League side, putting aside doubts about his poor work rate and bad attitude.

Connor Wilkinson and Peter Taylor shake hands.

It only took eight minutes for the former Portsmouth forward to open the scoring against the Hawks, as Alex McQueen played a short corner to the forward, before he cut inside, skipped by an advancing defender and rifled a shot straight into the top corner.

His second was slightly more fortuitous, as he raced forward with the ball and let fly a shot that looked destined to end up in the arms of the Havant goalkeeper, but the ball bounced underneath Dudzinski and into the net.

Hart Test To Come

Signing Wilkinson has been a masterstroke by Daggers boss Peter Taylor so far, and the forward will be looking to continue his brilliant form as Dagenham head North as they take on Hartlepool on Saturday at Victoria Park.
