East London Sport Women’s Hockey team travelled to the boundaries of North West London on Wednesday to face Royal Veterinary College’s third team. An 11-strong team started the match at Furzefield Leisure Centre, but after half-time were reduced to playing with eight due to multiple players having prior commitments.

The game ended in a 4-0 defeat for the East London team despite a strong performance in the cold winds. The team will be looking to get back to winning ways in their next game on the 11th March where they face Queen Mary’s third team.
