The London Lions are set to face the Kapfenberg Bulls for the second time this season away from home at the Sporthalle Welfersam in Austria.

The two teams first met on the 20th of October in a game where the Lions played excellent defence led by Isaiah Reese’s four steals and 18 points, as the Lions walked away with the win, 68-58. Since that game, the Lions have gone on win two more games and remain undefeated in the group stages of the FIBA Europe Cup with a record of four wins and zero losses.

Following the Lions most recent Europe Cup game against Donar Groningen in which they won, 85-67 the Lions have gone on to lose a game against the Leicester Riders in the BBL Cup putting them tied for first place in the South division with the Riders.

Clinical

The Lions also dominated the Cheshire Phoenix on the 5th of November and won by 39 points behind the triple-double performance of Jordan Williams, as well as clinical scoring performances from Dirk Williams and Lorenzo Cugini who scored a combined 40 points.

The Kapfenberg Bulls have not performed well this calendar year as they currently have no wins and four losses in the FIBA Europe Cup as well as the Bet-at-home Superliga in Austria.

With no wins at all this season, the Bulls will surely be looking to change that and turn their season around with a statement victory against the red-hot London side coming to visit them on their home court.

The two teams will play on the 10th of November at 6 pm in Austria.
