East London band Cavalcade has announced their new EP “Swallow The Weekend” will be released on 11th March via Golden Robot Records, along with a live gig the following day at The Old Blue Last in Shoreditch.

Swallow The Weekend will be the second EP from the boys after their first “Lockdown Archives” was released in 2020, including songs “Midnight Comes”, “Silver Bones” and “Anita”. The new EP will consist of songs “Feels Like Home”, “Dreaming About”, “Swallow The Weekend” and “Sunshine Child”.

Last week, the band appeared on BBC Introducing Essex after their song “Swallow The Weekend” was played on Jake Peach’s show.

The four-piece indie band consists of members Connor Duggan, Tom Nunn, Steve Norris and Jack Campbell. The group got together in 2017 and started performing at venues around London, even being offered a slot at the Camden Rocks festival alongside artists such as The Coral and Reverend and the Makers.

 

They released their debut single Alkaline in 2018 which appeared on Radio X with presenter John Kennedy saying ‘’proving the spirit of The Buzzcocks is still going strong’’.
