Canadian singer Céline Dion, best-known for the soundtrack to Titanic, has launched her own fashion collection in collaboration with the Israeli brand Nununu. But it’s not a simple collection: it’s a genderless collection for children called Célinununu.

The launch was announced on Twitter through a tweet from the singer herself:” I’ve always loved nununu and what they represent. Partnering with them to encourage a dialogue of equality and possibility makes so much sense”.

The stated aim of this gender-neutral clothing line is to make children grow with an open mind. For this reason, the clothes are not blue or pink and every garment is for everyone, boys and girls.

In the promo video posted on her Instagram account, Celine goes on to say that parents are not entitled to choose sexual orientation for their children; they are not ours for us to make choices on their behalf.

This is an example of how fashion can help us change the world we live in. We need to feel free to be who we want to be, with no one else deciding our future or our identities.
