Charlton are back in Sky Bet Championship action this evening at home to Fulham with the south-east London side seeking their first win since Boxing Day.

The Addicks head into tonight’s clash currently sat 19th following a run of one in their last 16 games.

Meanwhile, London rivals Fulham will be looking to continue their push for promotion with just four points separating them from a place in the automatic promotion slots.

Taylor To Return?

Charlton’s key men Lyle Taylor, Sam Field and Chris Solley are all hoping to return for the hosts tonight, as they look to revitalise a once promising season and steer clear of the drop zone.

Taylor made his return in December after a long-term knee injury but hasn’t played in the clubs previous games, whilst Solly has been sidelined by a short-term illness. Jake Forster-Caskey remains unavailable.

Meanwhile, the visitors are without top scorer Alexsandar Mitrovic and Aboubakar Kamara, the latter having not featured since his sides New Years Day’s home defeat to Reading.

Midfielder Harrison Reed and defender Steven Sessegnon remain doubtful but could feature.

Contrasting Form

Fulham trail second-placed Leeds United by four points and league leaders West Bromwich Albion by five, both of whom have been in poor form over recent weeks.

With neither side in action this evening, a win for Fulham could move them to within touching distance of the Championship summit.

In the home dugout, Lee Bowyer will be keen to change his side’s fortunes following a run of poor form which has seen them drop into 19th.

Just five points separates them from the relegation zone.

Ahead of the London derby, midfielder Darren Pratley told cafc.co.uk: “It will be a tough game. They (Fulham) have had an extra day’s rest because they faced Middlesbrough on Friday. They are a very good side. A very, very good side.

“We got a point down at their place and we’re going to have to be at it, but I think our home crowd will help us to try and get something out of it.”
